Thoughts on tickets so far? Empty Thoughts on tickets so far?

Message par richc111 Sam 14 Mai 2022 - 14:27

Seems like the most divisive aspect of Pinball FX 2022 so far has been the tickets and admittedly, I can kinda get why; when they were implemented initially, they drew ire for only being able to be purchased in limited amounts, meaning players could be left with unwanted ticket balances. Unfortunately this hasn't been changed yet, but Zen has also stated that they do have plans to change it and that the tickets are a way to allow for cross-platform purchasing, which is fine by me.

I'm fine with not being able to bring all my purchased tables into the new game - admittedly I'm only interested in the new game for the new tables that release there, which I can just buy using the Pinball Pass. I do think, however, that along with the dynamic bundling Mel brought up, an option to buy single tickets for a dime each would work wonders for the microtransaction system.

Overall, I completely get why Zen views this as an upgrade from before, and I do too for the most part - being able to purchase singular tables was something you could never do in the days of FX3 and prior - but I also think that tickets could be handled in a way that prevented these unwanted balances from being a thing.
